The Wizard Nebula NGC7380
Description
Forget magic wands; all I need is my telescope! Last night, right here in Brussels, I managed to capture this breathtaking view of the Wizard Nebula (NGC 7380).
Now, why is it called the "Wizard Nebula"? Take a closer look at those sculpted pillars and wispy tendrils of gas and dust. They almost seem to dance and swirl, conjuring images of a sorcerer casting spells amidst a starry sky. It’s easy to see how this celestial cloudscape, 7,000 light-years away, earned its magical moniker.
